Thank you for the link you posted above. I finally got the portrait which is my favourite as well.

As for the lastest work of Liu, I like “温床2” most. But the picture of “温床2” the site provides is so small that I couldn't see the detail, it's a pity.

I like 温床一 better.

Have you seen The East? Directed by Jia Zhangke, A documentary focuses on Liu's creation of his SanXia collection.

btw, Jia is my favourite movie director at the moment

Yes，I saw it several months ago. Frankly, if I had not seen that documentary, I would never have had any opportunity to see the detail of those pictures and the process of creation.

Jia is one of the best contemporary directors and on his way to master. There are lots of wonderful movies and distinguished directors behind them in my memory. If you ask me which one is my favorite, I will choose Kieslowski. In my eyes, Kieslowski and his composer Preisner as a whole is the best of the best as of the moment, probably ever and forever.

Btw, I had made some comments on that documentary at a discussion group after saw it. Let me look it up. Got it posted below.

　　本来还以为这片子只讲三峡，后来发现后半部讲泰国曼谷，很意外——意外的惊喜。

　　上次看“三峡好人”后，看一评价，说到佩里·安德森视贾樟柯为结尾的大师，我70％赞同，现在加上这部“东”的结尾，我看也差不多85％了。

　　奇怪，昨天我给你的回复中写到，我较喜欢温床2。从这个老贴来看，当时“我都很喜欢”。为什么？为什么观片几个月后，对温床2的印象比对1强烈得多？奇怪。
　　想了一下，估计原因有三，依重要性排列：
　　1、温床1的主题见的过多，现实中、电影里、文学内，有点麻了。
　　2、温床2刻画对象为女性，我是男的。
　　3、温床2的群体在记录片中，一起唱了首歌，我很喜欢，音乐强化了记忆。
